Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan lets you write and edit your own book in the CruxOne editor, import a draft from Word, PDF, EPUB or text, and download it as PDF, EPUB and Word. AI help, book formatting and publishing to the stores are part of the paid plans.

What are credits?

Credits pay for AI work such as writing help, suggestions, AI book covers and marketing content. Each paid plan includes a monthly credit allowance; an AI book cover, for example, uses 15 credits.

Which stores can I publish to on each plan?

The Author plan publishes to Amazon KDP. The Pro plan adds Apple Books and Kobo. The Studio plan publishes to all major stores.

Which plan includes an audiobook and an author website?

Audiobook narration, a branded author website with your own custom domain, and sales analytics start on the Pro plan. Studio adds book trailer videos, social auto-posting, multiple pen names and team collaboration.

Do I keep the rights to my book?

Yes. Everything you create stays yours, and you can export your manuscript, cover and audio files at any time.

Can I hire editors or designers?

Yes. Every plan, including Free, includes the CruxOne Marketplace, where you can hire editors, designers and other publishing professionals.
